About Menus Book Contact About The bank house was Originally designed by William Campbell-Jones in 1907, a British Architect who was commissioned to design a building to stand the test of time for the National Provincial Bank. Now lovingly restored to its former glory, Bank house wine bar and kitchen is a local business with high quality hospitality at its core.

Stuart Gillies
Stuart is the owner and has spent 30 years in the hospitality industry at top level with numerous high level industry leaders world over.

Cecilia Gillies
Cecilia is the co-owner with Stuart coming originally from Paris before spending years working in London in the late 90’s. Now after having spent years bringing up their four children, Cecilia is returning to work in the family business.

Angelika Oparczyk
Angelika has worked with Stuart for 10 years overall, specialising at the top of the luxury wine market in London restaurants. This has included a number of high profile launches in central London and internationally, before then joining Stuart and Cecilia as general manager at Bank House.

Bobby Brown
Bobby has worked with Stuart at the launch of Bread Street Kitchen for three years before moving onto the Kentish Hare as head chef for 5 years. Bobby has now joined Stuart and Cecilia on this new style of concept, taking the role of head chef at Bank House Chislehurst.
Menus Our produce comes from local farms as well as artisan suppliers from further afield. Wines are a collection of natural, biodynamic and well known luxury classics.
