Our products are sourced as locally as possible using artisan food producers who we have worked with for many years and have built up relationships of trust and respect.

Stuart Gillies
Stuart is the owner and founder of Bank House Wine Bar and Kitchen which is his creation of a new style hospitality experience offering accessible luxury without the fuss. Stuart was a high profile chef for many years in central London having worked with chef Daniel Boloud in New York as well as legendary operators Chris Corbin and Jeremy King. He then went on to create and execute numerous concepts for Gordon Ramsay before taking over the Ramsay group as CEO from 2011 to 2018.

Cecilia Gillies
Cecilia is the co-owner with Stuart coming originally from Paris before spending years working in London in the late 90’s. Now after having spent years bringing up their four children, Cecilia is returning to work in the family business.

Bobby Brown
Bobby has worked with Stuart at the launch of Bread Street Kitchen for three years before moving onto the Kentish Hare as head chef for 5 years. Bobby has now joined Stuart and Cecilia on this new style of concept, taking the role of head chef at Bank House Chislehurst.
Art We regularly partner with a number of different artists at Bank House. Currently we have pieces from Piers Bourke, Ryan Metke, Paul Wright and Sarah Hamilton on display within our space.
